13 The Haunted

Mendadak Dangdut (Suddenly Dangdut) is a 2006 Indonesian dramatic-comedy film directed by Rudy Soedjarwo and written by Monty Tiwa. Starring Titi Kamal, Kinaryosih, and Dwi Sasono, it details the rise and fall of a dangdut singer and her sister-cum-manager.

Jessi, who works as a technician in a computer store, is assigned to do a repair at Kevin‘s house. Kevin has a strange aunt named Alice. When she returns home, Jessi starts being haunted by horrible ghosts. But love starts to grow between Kevin and Jessi. Nino, her ex-boyfriend is also terrorized by a “pocong” (a corpse wrapped in a death shroud), “kuntilanak”, and a half-body ghost.

Dika, nicknamed Kambing, continues his study in Australia and takes a finance degree that he doesn't have any interest in. Problem arises because he has to undergo long distance relationship with his girlfriend that causes the swelling of expenses and study difficulties. Then he meets a friend from primary school who believes that he can be a comedy writer. This opens up his mind in his search for identity.

She decided to run away from home and go to Jogja to see her boyfriend, Mika (Marcel Anthony). Stranded all alone in Yogya she finds that Mika goes to climb a mountain, unreachable by phone. Shanaz accidentaly is lost in the low class prostitution in Jogja. Luckily there’s Ningsih (Dinna Olivia), a prostitute who has simpathy for her.

Dimas and Deyna are lovers who promise to stay together forever. One day Deyna got the news that her parents died in a plane crash. The incident focred her to go to Europe and live with her Aunt. Six years passed. Boy became a film director & married, as fate would have it, one day bumps into Deyna who is now also married. Despite being married to other people and having seperate lives, Boy still believes that Deyna should be with him.

Desta was born in a happy and harmonious family. However, a witchcraft delivery led to the death of his parents. Desta grows to be quiet and full of mystery. His desire to avenge the past makes him seek the mastermind behind the death of his parents. In that search Desta meets with a group of teenagers who also has a special power like himself. Witchcraft war dominates his life when knowing the murder of his parents. Finally, Desta should choose to satisfy the lust of revenge or choose another way which is more humane.

Gadis is betrayed when her boyfriend has an affair with her best friend. She becomes withdraw, but a chance meeting with a girl named Rudi leads her on a series of fun and free adventures.
