Second Lieutenant Han Sang-Yeol leads his platoon during the Korean War in the early 1950s. He carries emotional scars and pain within. So when he meets some children from a choir, who have lost everything in the war, Sang-Yeol is deeply moved and tries to protect to them.

Lee Ji-hwan receives photographs in the mail that reminds him of how he met two girls, Shim Su-in and Kim Gyeong-heui, one summer five years ago. He shares his memories with his friend Cheol-hyeon. He recalls initially being in love with Su-in, but she rejects him. Throughout the summer, the three remain friends. Ji-hwan and Gyeong-heui develop feelings for each other but are reluctant to admit it. Ji-hwan recalls the complex relationship between the three to Cheol-hyeon.
Several people experience a miracle of love under the spell of a solar eclipse. Se-jin is obsessively in love with a very bizarre young woman named Ju-won. So-hyun confesses her feeling for Ji-wu by clinging to him and asking him how to become a strong drinker. Jeong-seok is a single father working as a copywriter, loved by Su-jeong, whose advances he rejects every time. Jin-man is a free-hug activist who returns to korea to meet his old flame.
Ji-Hwan (Kwon Sang-Woo) and Dal-Rae (Kim Ha-Neul) are old friends and they have grown up in the same neighborhood. Ji-Hwan admires Hong Kong movie star "Jacky Chan" and wants to be a world action star. Dal-Rae has a desire to be an actress. They always bear grudges against each other with their private weak parts, and they quarrel everyday, however they are great friends who care for each other. One day, Dal-Rae goes out with Young-Hoon who is in the same Taekwondo group as Ji-Hwan. Young-Hoon is a student representative of the department as well as an all-round athlete. Ji-hwan is also dating a girl, Ji-Min, a gorgeous glamour girl who has a well-shaped figure. It seems that there would be no problem between the good friends Ji-Hwan and Dal-Rae, but somehow a strange atmosphere arises after they start seeing someone else. Everybody knows it is more than just a friendship, except Ji-Hwan and Dal-Rae.
Tall, exotic looking and aimless 17-year-old Do Wan-deuk lives in a shabby house in a poor hillside village with a dwarf father and a stammering uncle. One day, his teacher reveals the surprising news that Wan-deuk’s runaway mother was actually from the Philippines and that Wan-deuk has a chance to see her again.
An old man suffering from depression is found dead, and his housekeeper, Mi-ran, is charged with the murder. Mi-ran’s defense attorney, Sun-ho, is surprised to learn the only witness to the crime is Ji-woo, a teenage girl with Asperger’s. Will Ji-woo be able to take the stand and provide a valid statement?
Chi-ho (Yoo Hae-jin), a genius confectionery researcher who has developed addictive flavors, experiences a sweet change when he meets Il-yeong (Kim Hee-sun), a call center worker at a loan screening company who thinks optimistically about everything, and goes through sweet changes.
