A Tale of Samurai Cooking - A True Love Story
Set within the Kaga Domain in the Edo Period. Oharu is an excellent cook and recognized for her skills. Due to her cooking talents, she marries Yasunobu, who is an heir in the Funaki family. The Funaki family serves as the cook for the Kaga Domain. Nevertheless, Yasunobu himself is a terrible cook. With the help of Oharu's mother-in-law Mitsuru, she begins to teach Yasunobu how to cook.

A Distant Cry from Spring (TV Movies)
Teiichiro married his wife, Sachiko, and succeeded his wife's parents' company, Ishino Clinic, in Kanazawa. Although the doctor is reputed for his straightforward work, he has been hiding a secret from his wife for three years. He has been having an affair with a college student, Umezawa Tomohisa. One day, a detective investigating a murder case comes to Teiichiro. A man named Sugiyama, arrested for alleged murder, claims his alibi is that he had met with Teiichiro at the time of the incident. In fact, on that day, Teiichiro enjoyed a secret meeting with his lover, Tomohisa, and accidentally met with Sugiyama, but pretended to not remember. However, Teiichiro, who was mentally driven to lose his relationship with Tomohisa and lost his family and work, falsely remembers that he did not meet Sugiyama on that day.
Based on the manga "Tsuribaka nisshi" written by Juzo Yamasaki and illustrated by Kenichi Kitami. The comic has been serialized in "Big Comic Original" since 1979.
Yumiko returns to work in Hama-chan's department. She had once left the company after getting married, but a dark shadow now seems to loom over her.
Hama-chan meets a friendly US soldier on a trip to Nagasaki with Su-san. Su-san returns to Tokyo and is informed that Hama-chan has gone missing.
Young-Ung was dumped by his girlfriend. While he is in Okinawa, Japan on a business trip, the company he works for goes bankrupt. Sakura is a single mother and works for a travel agency. She needs to learn Korean for her job. At a Korean language institute, Sakura meets Young-Ung and their romance begins.

Hama-chan takes a vacation to go fishing in Akita despite warnings from Su-san as his company faces a restructuring process.
Atsushi (Koichi Sato) and Ryoko (Kanako Higuchi) are a married coupled. They decide they want to live around nature and move to Biei in Hokkaido, Japan. Atsushi isn't sure what to do with his free time, so Ryoko asks him build a stone wall around their house. Atsushi experiences tragedy, but later gets closer to his estranged daughter, Satoko (Keiko Kitagawa). Atsushi continues building the stone wall.
