The day after her father’s funeral, Hana goes to his old house to clear the place out, and finds an unexpected company—none other than his dog, Ddaengi. Hana struggles to accept the sudden death of her long-estranged father, and ends up abandoning Ddaengi. At last, her daily life is back on track. She tries to forget her old family and seeks stability in her new family. However, haunted by a sporadic sense of guilt, she starts looking for Ddaengi again.
