All Night Long 2: Atrocity

A mentally unstable young woman named Yoshie implores a gifted plastic surgeon (Yukiko Okamoto) to make her beautiful in this disturbing Japanese psychodrama directed by Katsuya Matsumura. Although the operation is successful, Yoshie becomes even more preoccupied with beauty -- and soon draws the doctor into a horrifying world of emotional agony and masochism. The film's supporting cast includes Asuka Kurosawa, Kota Kusano and Miki Asakura.

Tenshin Okakura left the great achievement to the Japanese modern art. This is a story of Tenshin's life and conflict and teacher-student love between Tenshin, who rediscovered art of Japan and tried to produce new beauty in Meiji period, and his young pupils, Taikan Yokoyama, Shunsou Hishida, Kanzan Shimomura, Buzan Kimura.

A knife-wielding sexual deviant targets two beautiful sisters.He begins frantic night of abuse and humiliation with the older one after she getting back home.The innocent older sister doesn't know that he had broken into their apartment and had confined the younger one.

The version of "All Night Long 5" I have is in Japanese, but the above synopsis is general gist. I'm a big fan of Katsuya Matsumura and I absolutely love the first three "All Night Long" movies."All Night Long R" is also pretty good whilst still being deeply disturbing.Unfortunately "Initial O" is too long and sometimes dull, so I was a little bit disappointed.Still there is plenty of sex and some unsettling sexual torture on display. There is not enough gore,but some scenes (for example throat slashing or castration) are particularly nasty.

Japan in 1910, industrialization is unstoppable and devastating entire areas in the name of progress. In X, a farming village in Ibaraki Prefecture, the environment is so polluted that the plants in the fields die and the air, which is laden with toxic smoke, can no longer be breathed. But Saburo, the grandson of the village elder, can no longer put up with this and forms the resistance of the villagers. In Junpei, the idealistic employee of Hitachi, he finds an unexpected ally, and together they fight for a way to save the village.

"All Night Long R" was released on DVD only in Japan, but I managed to track it down. The film is not as savagely violent as the previous two movies "All Night Long 2" and "All Night Long 3", but the tone of it is definitely disturbing and depressing. It tells us about obviously disturbed Japanese individual named Yuuki who captures two Japanese girls. One of them, Reika,is brutally murdered and her captor cuts her up and takes her body parts like ears and breast.The second girl is chained to his bed and he performs a hideous experiments on her body. "All Night Long R" is a rather slow-moving horror film that offers plenty of shocking violence.The acting is excellent and the killing of a Japanese boy is extremely vicious and cruel. Sometimes the film has a mood of a very sad romance. So if you're a fan of Katsuya Matsumura's works give this gem a look.

Based on the infamous "Concrete-encased high school girl murder case" that took place from November 1988 to January 1989 in Japan. Junko Furuta, a female 17 year old high school student, was kidnapped and confined in a house by four other male high school students (all juvenile) in the Ayase district of Adachi-ku, Tokyo, where she was repeatedly raped, sexually humiliated and tortured in an extremely brutish manner for 41 days before she finally died after a particularly severe beating. The boys hid her body in a drum and filled it with concrete, but the body was nonetheless discovered a few months later.
