A young literary scholar Vadim Demin wants to work in London. To fulfill his dream, he must first work out as a simple school teacher. To find an approach to students, Vadim learns to speak their language - the language of rap.

No matter how far the war retreats, its traces are imprinted on the torn earth and the memory of generations for tens, hundreds of years with bloody traces. The body of the earth is burned by shells, torn apart by mines - and we are its Parts. The heroes of the film are young Caucasian guys-children of the war that destroyed their childhood and youth. Contemporary Moscow. Sasha Titov is a successful executive, reveling in the single life. One day, a ten-year-old girl, Alya, shows up at his penthouse, claiming to be his daughter. Can this incorrigible bachelor learn to be a father?

This is a kind of memory of memories. The trip is enclosed in three conditional spaces: abandoned in an empty field - a hostel for internally displaced persons who exist outside the present and future, with a scattered, burned past. Exhausted, abandoned by the souls that once inhabited it, the city of Grozny, to which, for the first time after the war, a Russian girl comes to see her native home, return to her childhood and "die in it", saying goodbye to him forever for all those who lost their home and homeland.

The main characters of the film have made choices, which change their lives forever. A young man Yigal Amir assassinates the Prime Minister of Israel and becomes the most hated prisoner in the country. Larissa, who emigrated from Russia, mother of four divorces her first husband, marries the assassin and gives birth to his son. For many years the film authors have been trying to solve and perceive this complicated story. One of them, Hertz Frank, passes away during the shootings remaining on the threshold of the eternal mystery - life, death and love...
