Cafe Romeo

Roy, an accident-prone blind man, falls in love with a young woman named Shirley. When Shirley’s overbearing father Frank lets his disapproval of their relationship be known, Roy and Shirley head off to Niagara Falls to open a restaurant as Frank plans to break them up.

A backwoods, illiterate young woman from Arkansas battles to regain custody of her son from her estranged husband who feels she is an unfit mother. In the process, she falls in love with a struggling musician who helps her cause.

A suicidal tuba player hires a hit-man to rub him out. The next day he falls in love.
