In October 2007, Pasqual Maragall was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Once past the initial blow, he and his family embarked on a crusade against the disease. From the very first step, this film has grown into an extraordinary testament. With intelligence, sincerity and an infectious spirit, Maragall allows a portrait to be painted of not only himself, but also his family and his doctors, in order to leave behind a lasting document of his personal fight.

Each September, the inmates from Madrid's prison system gather in Soto de Real penitentiary for the Festival of Song. This intimate, experiential documentary follows the love stories of eight participants over the course of one year.

Joan Ximénez el Petitet is a Catalan gypsy who pursues a dream. A former musician now —a percussionist, son of Ramón el Huesos who worked with the mythical singer Peret—, and affected by a rare chronic disease, he wants to accomplish the promise he made to his mother before she died: to celebrate a rumba concert on the stage of the Liceu, a great theater in Barcelona, along with a big symphony orchestra.
