Deadline

Two couples, friends for a long time, decide to go away together. Things soon take a turn for the worse when Linda and Jeff spend far too much time together instead of with their respective spouses, Paul and Stella.

During World War II, a passenger ship travelling from Britain to the USA is torpedoed by a German U-Boat. Eleven children survive the wreck and are swept to a small uninhabited island. Miraculously, they are able to establish radio contact with none other than the grandson of the US president.

A famous radio talk-show host finds herself being stalked by the man convicted of murdering her husband, who has finished his 25-year sentence and is out of prison. Her situation is made even more dire when it turns out that he isn't the only problem she has.
