This 20th anniversary production of Jonathan Harvey’s play about two working class teenage boys falling in love on a south east London council estate was captured by Digital Theatre live at the Arts Theatre in London’s Leicester Square. It was directed by Nikolai Foster and starred Suranne Jones as Sandra.

Bachelor Jack Worthing and his best mate Algernon Moncrieff hope to marry society’s most eligible ladies, Gwendolen Fairfax and Cecily Cardew. Arguably Oscar Wilde’s most well-known play, The Importance of Being Earnest opens at Curve’s Studio theatre, the latest production in the Made at Curve autumn season (and made in conjunction with Birmingham Rep, having premièred there earlier in September).
Set over a turbulent New Year’s Eve in 1940s Hollywood, Sunset Boulevard is a compelling story of romance and obsession. Directed by Nikolai Foster, the performance features Ria Jones reprising her role as silent-screen goddess Norma Desmond, with Danny Mac returning as penniless screen writer Joe Gillis.
