Andrés is a nine year old boy musician who plays the treble. On the way to a recital with his parents and in the midst of endless traffic, he tries to practice the melody he’ll be playing. Frustrated by the traffic, the heat, and that he can’t play the piece correctly, Andrés bursts in anger, throwing his instrument, which stops time as it touches the floor.

In hopes of solving a financial crisis at home, Marysol, youngest sibling and agronomy student, decides to dabble in the medical cannabis growing industry. When she faces its high costs and government regulations, she must convince her parents of starting a clandestine operation at home while they can meet the legal requirements. The dysfunctional family then embarks on an adventure that promises to bring them closer as a family.
