Nearing the end of WW2, Nazis realize that they will lose. A handful of them board a plane bound for Argentina, where they plan to live in hiding. During the flight lightning hits the plane and the SS parachute onto an island populated by savages. Atrocities await. Notorious director Bill Zebub has often ridiculed fascism, but he never actually targeted Nazis. This is the first movie in which he outright makes fun of them. He never thought that it was necessary to point out the obvious, but this particular story is fertile ground for new parody.
If you think it's funny to watch a drunkard, think of the fun you'll have watching someone on acid. This movie follows a doomed character who can't seem to go a day without tripping, venturing into one misadventure after another. Yes, taking acid can make a normal routine, like going to work, seem like an odyssey, complete with monsters (toilet sharks), perils (the sidewalk turning into an inferno), and beautiful maidens. Why are movies about serial killers sanitized of the sex crimes? Some of those movies resemble soap operas, not horror flicks. Regardless, this collection of behind-the-scenes footage shows the mood during filming harsh scenes. You get to decide if this is sleaze or art.
