In trying to gather evidence against smuggler Narendra, a journalist, Nandanda, is killed by a masked man, leaving his only son Sagar to take revenge for his death. Sagar is then falsely accused of killing a woman named Shalini, arrested by his brother, Constable Ram Singh, and put in jail. Sagar pleads innocence and Ram Singh leaves no stone unturned trying to prove Sagar's innocence, but when the case is tried in court, Sagar is sentenced to death. Ram Singh, however, is able to convince the judge of Sagar's innocence, and gets him released. Then Ram comes across the real perpetrator of the crime, arrests him, and finds himself embroiled in deception, and charged with the murder of the person he had just brought in. Trapped behind iron bars, how will Sagar avenge his father's death and prove his innocence?

Suresh, the son of a wealthy lawyer, refuses to acknowledge his girlfriend Malati's child as his own. Malati hires a lawyer who fights for her rights and takes Suresh to court.

Venkataramaiah (Gummadi) is a respectable person in the society, who runs a timber business. He does not take up any responsibility, neither does he earn anything. Accidentally, he meets Kavita (Vijayashanti), who works as a dance teacher in a school. They both are very opposite to each other. Sivaram (Satyanarayana) is an opponent businessman to Venkataramaiah, who once was a worker under Venkataramaiah, and always had quarrels with Venkataramaiah and Anand. After some time, Kavitha understands Anand's love, but his family members did not agree to their marriage, so Anand leaves the house and marries Kavitha. Meanwhile, Sivaram throws Venkataramaiah into heavy debts, so entire property comes to auction. The remaining children leave Venkataramaiah alone, which leads to his heart attack and his wife's death. Finally, Anand comes to their rescue and how he keeps up his parents prestige and honor, forms the rest of the story.

This warmhearted comedy takes place in a household completely dominated by Durga Bhatnagar, an imposing matriarch who's desperate for a grandson and heir.

The film begins in a village whose president Chandraiah (Jaggayya) is a man of integrity who has been unanimously elected for the past 25 years, and has established peace. He leads a happy family life with his ideal wife Anasuya (Annapurna), three sons Sivaram (Eeswara Rao), Prasad (Sudhakar), and Ramakrishna (Nandamuri Balakrishna), two daughters-in-law Kamala (Y. Vijaya), and Satya (Rajyalakshmi), 1 daughter Poorna (Varalakshmi), and a grandson Gopi (Master Rajesh). Gopi is sweetest to both Chandraiah and Ramakrishna and he too strongly bonded with him. Besides, Suraiah (Satyanarayana) a deleterious and always begrudges Chandraiah. Yet, benevolent Chandraiah knitted his elder daughter Satya with Prasad. Ramakrishna is a gallant who always accepts the challenges, and triumphs which perturbs his father

Raju, a racecar driver, and Jaya, a telecaller, meet and begin to fall in love. Despite their parents' objections to their relationship, the two decide to get married.

A loving middle-aged couple are heartbroken when their children get waylaid in life. Their eldest son loves a prostitute's daughter, the younger son is a thief, and the daughter refuses to get married.

Din Dayal Sharma works as a Head Clerk and lives with his wife, Godavari; 3 sons Vijay, his wife Uma; Shiva and Vidyasagar; and a daughter named Rajni. Their standard of living is middle-class and all three males contribute to this lifestyle with Vijay contributing the most as he is a Chartered Accountant. When the time comes for Rajni's marriage, she refuses to marry Jagmohan's son, and wants to marry a Christian by the name of Peter Fernandes. The marriage takes place, and she re-locates to the Fernandes' house.
