Album is a 2002 Indian Tamil romantic drama film written and directed by Vasanthabalan, starring Aryan Rajesh and Shruthika. The story portrays the love and affection between two families. The film, produced by Kavithalayaa Productions, was Vasanthabalan's directorial debut and became a commercial failure, remainaing his only unsuccessful venture.[1] It is however best known for featuring the song "Chellame Chellam" from Karthik Raja's soundtrack to the film, which was award-winning playback singer Shreya Ghoshal's first song in Tamil language.

Angaadi Theru (English: Market Street) is a 2010 Indian Tamil drama film written and directed by Vasanthabalan of Veyil fame, starring debutant Mahesh and Anjali in the lead roles. The film, the title of which refering to the Ranganathan Street in Chennai where the story plays, also features actress Sneha appearing in a cameo role as herself and music jointly composed by Vijay Antony and G. V. Prakash Kumar.[1] An Ayngaran International production, the film was launched on 11 February 2008 [2] and released on 26 March 2010 to critical acclaim.

The two best disciples of Sivadas Swamigal, the earnest owner of a Drama school, are by design pitted against each other by the guru himself and this create multiple calamities ending in the duo's separation. Years pass by as one finds a good holding and the other wobbles away as a drunk loser only for them to cross paths again when the ongoing Indian Independence Movement gives another chance for the tables to turn!

Kombodhi (Pasupathy) is the leader of a tribe of thieves living in Vembur. After a particular expedition, they come to know of a solitary thief, who claims to be from their village. Kombodhi hunts him out and finds that his name is Varipuli (Aadhi) and that he is very skilled. Kombodhi invites him to join his gang and live in Vembur. But after Varipuli arrives, his past catches up with him.

Story of two brothers told from the perspective of older brother who recalls his childhood memories where he runs away from home and returns after 20 years. The rest of the film is all about mental turmoil, as he is caught between the deep love showered by his younger brother who runs a successful advertising agency and his guilt of not being a responsible son or elder brother.
