Oat (Oil-Thana) is a musician, who accompanies his grandfather to an island to look for his long lost love. To their great dismay, they find that she has passed away. Oat's grandfather, when he was young, was too shy to ask out his true love, and she married another man. Due to bad weather, the two are unable to leave the island, and Oat winds up meeting Bow, who he believes to be his true love. But he suffers from the same shyness that his grandfather has. Before the storm ends, Oat must find the confidence he needs, or be doomed to wonder what could have been forever.
A local Thai flight crashes inside Burma in rebel held territory. Amongst the survivors are several gay men and transsexuals. The Thai Army is ordered by the Foreign Ministry to rescue them. One of their soldiers is a bit of a loose cannon and he hates homosexuals as his son is one. However he must do his duty despite his prejudice. The Shan rebels control the area. They capture the survivors but they manage to run away with the Thai rescue team. They are supposed to be picked up by helicopter but the Thai Foreign ministry changes their mind and refuses to allow the flight to take off. They have no choice but to trek through the jungle to reach the Salween river and cross with the Shan rebels in hot pursuit.
Soccer coach Byrd is persuaded by teacher Noo Lek to help coach ten of the school's kindergarteners students for a tug-of-war tournament being staged as part of the 18th National Kindergarten Sports Competition. Problems arise upon learning the rules clearly state that only 9 players are allowed on each tug of war team. Thus the 10-kid "Dream Team" must bench one member during the competition. Coach Byrd is forced to deal with a bunch of interfering parents who want to make sure their kid is featured on the school team.
