Basile is six years old and has just lost his grandmother. He feels he hasn’t had enough time to say goodbye to her, and he already misses the delicious cookies her "Bobonne" made... So, he is very happy when he discovers her hidden under his bed! They decide to bake some new cakes together. But Bobonne has forgotten the recipe.
A shy young price seeks solace in overeating rather than attempt courtship. Until he begins to suffer from severe stomach pains. A peculiar doctor advises him to drink the waters of a magical spring every day. But it is a thousand leagues from the palace. The prince must go there alone, on foot, otherwise the water will lose its powers to cure him.
In the calm of the jungle, an unusual noise scares the animals who panic one after the other ; as the rumour spreads, their behaviour becomes increasingly irrational.

This time The Cinema Owl has brought back from her travels six short films in the form of fables about animals, each with a strong message. La Fontaine turns filmmaker, in the tradition of our cartoon favourites, is both educational and a lot of laughs.
A wealthy banker prides himself on his fortune, but is literally bored to tears with his life. One day he passes by the home of a humble stonemason who tells him he is quite content with his freedom, his rock and his early morning cup of tea."But how can one live without gold?" exclaims the banker, sure that the man shares his love for gold!
A little boy can't get to sleep. He calls his father who tells him to try counting sheep. The little boy does as he is told but soon finds himself with a dozen sheep around his bed.

It is snowing. Lily and her grandfather are making a little bird house to help the birds survive over the winter. "But where do the other animals in the garden find shelter in winter?" – wonders the little girl. So she puts one of her mittens at the foot of the tree where they have fastened the bird house.
