Kishinchand is a Customs Officer based in Bombay. He has been assigned to infiltrate and expose a gang of smugglers and drug dealers headed by two gangsters named Jaggan and Ajay Kumar. When Ajay's brother, Vijay, becomes a Police Informer, he is shot dead by Ajay, who not only regrets his death, but also is feeling guilty about his son taking to drugs. When his son succumbs to an overdose, Vijay starts to provide information to the police with the hope of ending all criminal activity by Jaggan and his men. He does succeed considerably, only to have his daughter, Rajni, abducted and held for ransom. Vijay agrees to testify against Jaggan only if the Police and Kishinchand locate Rajni first. The question is will Kishinchand be able to locate Rajni before Jaggan and his men kill her, and even if so, there is no guarantee that Ajay will long, especially when a brutal killer, Billa, who has never failed any assignment, has been hired to kill him at any and all costs.

Farz (Hindi: फ़र्ज़, translation: Duty) is a 1967 Hindi spy thriller film. Directed by Ravikant Nagaich, it has music by Laxmikant Pyarelal and lyrics by Anand Bakshi. The film stars Jeetendra and Babita along with Aruna Irani, Nagesh, Agha and David.

The Commissioner of Police is impressed with the diligence and bravery by one of his officers named Vijay, and asks him to re-locate to a lawless town by the name of Shona Pur, which Vijay accepts. He arrives there incognito, and is faced with several challenges, including lackadaisical policemen, who have never arrested anyone. He sets out to put things right. He meets with a young woman by the name of Shanti, who is on the look-out for buried treasure. Vijay and Shanti both fall in love with each other, and both set out to locate this treasure. In order to do this they will have to go through underground caverns, snake-pits, and a gang of thieves who are known to kill anyone who get in their way.

In a bid to locate a missing employee, Jackson, the Central Bureau of Investigation assigns Agent Gopi to locate him. Gopi accepts this assignment and must battle women, venomous snakes, gangsters, kidnappers, a robot-human, as well as Priya Varma - who believes that he killed her father, Dr Varma, Neelam - who is determined to seduce and then enslave him, and the unknown and mysterious head of an organization simply known as S.S.O.

With India ready to enter into the Atomic Age, several international gangsters get together to steal the secret for the benefit of other nations. The Indian Secret Service assigns this case to Agent 116, Gopal Kishan Pandey, who is just recovering from the death of his fiancée, Asha, who was killed by gunmen hunting for him. Gopal's investigation leads him to a young cabaret dancer, Bijli, who is the main contact between the international conspirators. Through befriending her, he learns that she is not who she claims to be, but is actually the daughter of Kedar, an employee of Daulatram, who had mysteriously disappeared. As Gopal delves more and more into this mystery, the fewer become his chances at successfully apprehending an enemy that is always elusive and a step ahead of the authorities.

What led to Rakesh's sudden change of heart - from killing his father's assailant to becoming partners with him?
