Nine Girls and a Ghost

From the director of “72 Tenants Of Prosperity” comes a period comedy movie about an emperor (Richie Ren) who disguises himself as a commoner and later falls in love with Phoenix (Barbie Hsu), the lady boss of an inn.

Kung (Eric Tsang) and Kin's (Jacky Cheung) rivalry goes way back to the seventies when they fought over the same girl, who eventually became Kung's wife (Anita Yuen). Now they run competing phone stores right across from each other on Mongkok's busiest street, and stretch their minds trying to outdo each other with crazy promotions. There's absolutely no mixing with the enemy in these parts - until Kung and Kin's kids fall for each other! Further chaos breaks out when the landlord triples the rent of all the shop owners to force them out for redevelopment.

Meanwhile, struck by the shocking news of the world's impending doom, Kwok Ching is determined that he must reunite his family before it's too late...

Lam Luk (Cho-lam Wong), Jit Sau (Johnson Lee), Fook Cheung (Louis Yuen) are three unemployed friends who come together to help Lam Luk get married. After his business goes bust, Ng Shun (Tony Leung Ka Fei) and his family move back to his old apartment to stay with his father. He has not returned for 10 years because the apartment is too small for his family. Furthermore, the environment is unfamiliar to Shun's family. Coincidentally Shun's old childhood friend, Lung (Eric Tsang) returns too. Due to an old misunderstanding, Shun is distrustful of Lung. Will Lung regain Shun's trust again?
