The Snow Queen is a powerful story of friendship and the triumph of love over wickedness. The story follows a young woman who is forced to battle the wicked snow queen in order to save the soul of the man she loves.
Dee (Carol Cheng) is a disheveled, hot-headed HK cop; Apple Yu (May Lo) is an urbane, designer-dressed inspector from the ICAC. Now, they're partners trying to bring down (still another) triad crime ring. To intimidate Apple, Dee dresses like a model, but finds that her partner has taken on a street-punk guise to intimidate her. They locate a priest who's a triad defector; and while Dee takes a nun's guise, her partner tries to pull off being a junkie in withdrawal.
Richard Greico leads a team of electrical workers who stumble across a terrifying parallel universe. While investigating a strange power source in an abandoned building, the workers find themselves sucked into an underworld teeming with massive, man-eating, spider-like monsters. The bloodthirsty arachnid-human hybrids stalk and kill their victims one by one, leaving the dwindling group of survivors to fight back with just their wits and a handful of primitive weapons.
When the Royal Family decides to accept suitors for the hand of Princess Li Wei, a young thief who calls himself 'Devil Boy' decides to pose as a prince in order to swipe the crown jewels. To his surprise, he ends up genuinely falling in love with the young woman, placing himself and his faithful servant in the crosshairs of the dangerous Prince of the North.
Trained thieves (Ivan Sergei, Sandrine Holt) investigate a hit man and a power struggle within their former crime family.
A promising track star, 18 year old Jesse Brenner struggles with binge drinking during her freshman year of college.
A poor but feisty Chinese woman, disguised as a boy, joins the railroad crew in the Rocky Mountains to search for her long-lost father, and falls in love with the son of the railroad tycoon.
Sharpshooter Mu Liangfeng (Peter Ho) with Platoon Leader (Tony Leung Ka Fai) perform specific tasks, with the big villain “ghosting” (Guo Mingxiang) and start match-ups/duel. The trailer for director David Wu’s “Cold Steel”... could be a hell of a lot of fun. Everything you could possibly want from a Chinese action flick is in full effect, especially if you like your sex and carnage presented in an insanely stylish fashion.
The young cartoonist Gao Dewei, played by Wu Zhenyu, has a cowardly character and a strict tutor. He uses the drawing of Superman to express his feelings.
