Akkineni Nagarjuna plays the role of a sincere Cop, Vamsi Krishna, who is sent undercover along with two other cops. Of which one cop is a close friend and associate to Vamsi played by Subhalekha Sudhakar, by Police Commissioner played by Giri Babu to track down a vicious and dangerous criminal named Raghuram played by Murali Mohan. Vamsi performs surveillance on Raghuram's daughter Geetha played by Amala, by getting into Geeta's opposite building's flat in a Residential complex, to gather details and whereabouts of her criminal father. Geeta lives with her aunt played by Sukumari. When Vamsi in guise of a telephone department inspector, pursues her and falls in love with Geetha, she reciprocates Vamsi's love interest initially but refuses him after she gets to know the truth that he's a Cop and is about to drag her father to prison.

Midhunam movie is all about Sethumadhavan (Mohanlal) who has plans to start a biscuit factory near his house. But the bureaucracy and the corruption of the officials are the hurdles in front of him. Along with that he has to solve the problems in his family, which his brother (Innocent) and brother-in-law (Jagathy Sreekumar) creates. he marries his long-term fiancée Sulochana (Urvashi) who always cribs that he doesn't have love towards her, which he had shown before their marriage. Sivaraman is forced to participate in a bank robbery planned by Thomas and his gang, which puts them in more trouble.And they find a place as Kunjunni with the body of Govindan kutty and sound of Sivaraman in the house of a blind old couple (Nedumudi Venu and Kaviyoor Ponnamma), whose grandson Kunjunni who had left them a long time ago (when he was 7) and is now coming home.But a turn of events finds Sivaraman and Govindan kutty (combined) as Kunjunni with the body of Govindan kutty and sound of Sivaraman.

Champak Chaturvedi runs a theatrical troupe in India. He hires two men, Bunty - a graduate in Arts, and Babla- who cannot read nor write English. One has to play the role of the play's hero, while one the villain. Both men end up squabbling with each other, as both want the hero's part. Then Champak finds out that Bunty has molested the play's heroine, Anjali, and punishes him. The group gets a contract to stage 30 plays in Britain, however, on the day of the departure, Anjali opts out, leaving Champak no alternative but to travel without a heroine, but hoping to recruit one while in Britain. Upon arrival, Babla sets about to find a suitable heroine from the Indian population, but Bunty beats him to it and recruits a woman named Munni.

Snegithiye (English:Oh Friend! (female) ) is a 2000 Tamil mystery thriller film directed by Priyadarshan. The story is adapted from the 1999 Marathi film Bindhaast written by Chandrakant Kulkarni. The film notably features only female characters in the lead roles, played by Jyothika, Sharbani Mukherjee, Tabu and Ishita Arun music was composed by Vidyasagar. The film, released in 2000, proved average at the box office yet, bagged positive reviews from critics. Originally planned to be made as a bilingual, in Tamil and in Malayalam, the film released first in Tamil only, while the Malayalam version, Raakilipattu, as well as the dubbed Hindi version, friendship, released only seven years later

‘Marakkar Lion of the Arabian Sea’ portrays the courageous life-events of a rebellious naval chief, Kunjali Marakkar the fourth, who fought against the Portuguese in the ancient times. He was the fourth naval chief of the Calicut Zamorin. The film revolves around him who was also the first Indian Naval Commander and Indian freedom fighter for the war against the Portuguese. He is said to have won 16 such battles with his impeccable strategies and fighting skills.
