Miguel -a young film director- loses his wife on a strange accident. Without being able to visit her, he becomes so obsessed over her image that he recreates it over and over again on a series of cinematographical representations, were the life of one of his characters is interlaced with of his own fascinations, erasing the distinction and submitting him into a fall without a way back.
Leonora is a woman obsessed by the death of her daughter. Since then, her life has been assaulted by a repetitive dream that will make her initiate a strange journey, in which oniric spaces start melting with reality.
Chris Marker always was a mystery. He never let anyone photograph him, didn't appear in his films and never attended any festival. Rumour goes that at some moment during Allende's presidency, he visited Chile, travelled the streets and met some young local filmmakers. Marker 72 tries to resolve the mystery.
