Sivaji is a young kid from Sri Lanka who's family consisting of a mother and brother Ashok is uprooted from their community in Sri Lanka ends up in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh. There they are unjustly forced into work by a local mob boss named Baji Rao who forces them to work in transportation of illegal goods. Their lives are in constant hell because of the torture and unfair demands Baji Rao puts on them. Finally unable to bear the injustices by Baji Rao, Sivaji rises and turns into Chatrapati filling in the legend of the original Chatrapati who rose up and led the people against the Mughal emperor Aurangazeb and reunites with his mother.

The film is set in the Nelakondapalli village of khammam district in Nizam Princely State of Hyderabad of the late 1940s. The feudal society is under the vice-like grip of an aristocratic family and its head, a Dorasani (Shwetha Menon). Mallamma (Baby Annie) is the darling of the village, who is living in perpetual humiliation. They seek solace in her songs. Brought up by Sambayya, an old man, she develops a mysterious attachment to a basil tree which is regarded as holy by the entire village.

Ramu (Sunil) loses his father in faction feuds in a village in Rayalaseema, so his mother takes him away from Rayalaseema to save her son. He grows up in Hyderabad and after his mother's death, he tries hard to meet ends. One day, he receives a notice from the village to claim 5 acres of land, so he boards a train to the village. On board, he meets a beautiful girl Aparna (Saloni) who happens to be daughter of Ramineedu (Nagineedu). Ramineedu has been waiting to kill Ramu for years, as Ramu's father killed Ramineedu's brother. Aparna and Ramu become friends and Ramu comes to her house, there he learns that Ramineedu would kill him off he steps out of this house. Rest of drama is all about how Ramu saves his own life.
Nani is a flower decorator, madly in love with his neighbor Bindhu. He gets killed by the baddie, Sudeep, a powerful businessman. Nani comes back as a housefly to get his revenge.
The story is set in the backdrop of a college that is riven by two groups led by Prithvi (Nitin) and Shashank (Shashank). Though there is nothing malicious between the groups, they just can't see eye to eye on anything. The only thing common between the two are their abiding passion for rugby. Whenever a problem crops between the two, it is usually settled with a bitter scrum on the rugby field. As it happens, the college land falls into the hands of a local dadha Bikshu Yadav (Pradeep Rawat). This is good enough reason for the two groups to forge a common identity and fight for the land. Prithvi and Shashank bury the hatchet and get back the land. This is too much of a bitter pill for the dadha to swallow. And so he dares the students for a rugby match with his own group. What happens in the deciding rugby contest is the interesting denouement of the film. Thrown into this story is the love story between Nitin and Genelia.
Athili Sathi Babu (Ravi Teja) is a smalltime thief in Hyderabad. A small girl comes to Sathi Babu claiming that he is her father. Later on it is revealed that there is a look-alike of Sathi Babu in the form of Vikram Singh Rathod who had an impeccable track record as IPS officer. His past in Chambal valley catches up with him. The rest of the story is all about how these look-alikes' take care of baddies.
The film revolves around Simhadri who grows up under Ram Bhupal Varma. Simhadri takes care of Indhu, who happens to be the granddaughter of Ram Bhupal Varma. It is then revealed that Simhadri was earlier as a goon called Singamalai in Kerala who gains enmity with Bhai Saab. It is the biggest hit in Jr. NTR's career.
