RV: Resurrected Victims

A mix of social classes and characters mingle at the Eoksutang, a popular public sauna, every afternoon. Wan-ki, a wannabe movie director, a monk with VD, nude photographer searching for the perfect body, a Russian model and a peeping Tom are among the clients.

Sung-chan is a top detective of the special crime squad. He is notorious for punishing the opponent who hurts his pride. When Hyun-min impersonates as Sung-chan and robs a cash transport car under the daylight, and seizes $10 billion worth of smuggled gold right before the cop’s eyes, Sung-chan is outraged. He cannot let this criminal slip through. Sung-chan goes after Hyun-min like a wild beast going after its prey, but Hyun-min cunningly threads through the investigation, even leaving traces in the crime scenes on purpose to allure and provoke Sung-chan.

In-ho is willing to do anything to protect his first love, Mi-ju, including murder. They cannot forget each other while In-ho is in prison, but their love does not go smoothly.

The movie follows Private JEON, Nak-man, 23-year-old civil service man, in 1987 when Korea was in a confused political stage. Nak-man struggles in the army and is forced to abuse inmates at the installation confinement facility. Through his army life Nak-man realizes the problem of society and fights against it.

Based on the 2001 film, Friend, Our Legend expands and retells Kwak Kyung-taek's semi-autobiographical rough-and-tumble tale about four childhood friends coming of age in the tough streets of Busan in the 1970s and 1980s. As they enter into manhood, best friends Dong-soo and Joon-seok become enemies and bitter rivals in the city's underworld of gangs.

Busan in 1978. Gil-young, a veteran detective got the special request from the parents of a missing child, Eun-joo to investigate her case. As the clever kidnapper eludes the police, the case becomes more and more of a mystery. When Joong-san, the fortune-teller foretells Eun-joo’s whereabouts, people get to listen to what he says as the situation goes more despair with no remark on Eun-joo. He also tells that Gil-young is the only one who can save her. With no one to trust, Gil-yong and Joong-san come closing in around the kidnapper using any means possible. This movie is the record of 33 days of two men going through hell to find a missing girl and bring her back home alive.

Korean War, September 1950. After losing his family when he was young, Nam-soon feels no pain. The film follows the lives of four childhood friends: Joon-seok, the leader, whose father is a powerful mob boss; Dong-su, whose father is an undertaker; class clown Jung-ho; and Sang-taek, an exemplary student. The story is the director's experience about his friends, a semi-autobiography set in his hometown, Busan. When it was released it was the highest-grossing Korean movie of all time.
