Three friends gather for a potluck just as the world falls into apocalyptic ruin.
As Casey frantically prepares for a dinner party, she regales her friend Bee with tales of Sam, the new girl she is dating. Sam is great in every way, except for one maddening thing—she hums! No tune, just an absent-minded hum. Later, as the dinner party unfolds, Casey’s tunnel vision becomes obvious, only to be thrown off by a surprise encounter in the bathroom.
Living in a world that seems rife with phallic symbols, five lesbian friends take a teaspoon each of a concoction from Prague that will give them, for only one day, a penis. Next morning, the cock crows and the women seek men's experiences: they measure and compare, pee standing up, and look for women who'll sleep with them. At the end of the day, they gather to compare scores. It's a jungle out there.
Maggie has missed a date with a girl she really liked and will not return her best friend's phone calls. By looking around her apartment and listening to her phone messages, we learn why.

A wildly original extravaganza, FtF: Female to Femme presents a saucy, indelible portrait of a people central to the gender revolution. Part doc-, part mock-umentary (see if you can tell which is which!), FtF explores the variations of femme identity. Interviews with famous femmes, including Guinivere Turner, Bitch and Leslie Mah (from Tribe 8) are interspersed with scenes from a parodic consciousness-raising group. FtF asks a lot of hard questions like “Does wearing a push-up bra make one a bad feminist?” Sub-genres such as the retro femme, fat femme, tomboy femme, punk femme, and high femme are all given their due. FtF is a savvy, defiant documentary that’ll make you laugh, make you think and make you want to dismantle the patriarchy, while in stilettos.
