One of the many notorious 70's "unknown" documentaries, The Mysterious Monsters covers topics such as Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. Pictures, sounds, and videos of these two monsters are examined by Peter Graves, the host. Psychics, hypnotism, and the history of Bigfoot in many ancient cultures is also scrutinized.

Ever wonder how they ever managed to make a movie like Star Wars? Well, bickering droid duo C-3PO and R2-D2 host this tour of the mind of creator George Lucas and what inspired him to make the movie. Even interviewed are the cast and crew, even features scenes of when C-3PO, R2-D2, and Darth Vader planted their footprints (or in R2's case, tread-prints) into cement. Also discussed is Star Wars mania, how fans loved the movie, collected the merchandise and danced the disco music. Also shown are behind-the-scenes looks at the movie, as well as how difficult each effect was in doing since they didn't have the convenience of computer animation back then.

Classic Creatures: Return of the Jedi is a television documentary, first broadcast on CBS in 1983. It is a look behind-the-scenes of the creation of the various alien creatures from the third Star Wars film, Return of the Jedi, which was released that year.

This is a neat little documentary, aired on television and released on video. It is hosted by a bearded Harrison Ford who does some of his own stunts in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Many of the stunts in the film are shown and discussed at length. Ford chats with other stuntmen on the set of Raiders of the Lost Ark, and one point boasts that he has to work harder then real stuntmen, because he has to stay in character during the stunts he performs. That aside, for most of the documentary Ford stays in awe of the stuntmen, as probably most viewers would be. The documentary is rather fascinating and features plenty of insight into the stunt world by not just the stuntmen, but Ford and even Steven Speilberg. This documentary also takes a look at the history of movie stunts and shows a few stunts dating back to the early days of motion pictures, and shows a few frightening stunt mishaps.
