Chen Li leaves Macau for Hongkong but life's not easy for an illegal immigrant.
The girlfriend of a con-man is being held in a brothel and he must try to raise 200 tales of gold as a dowry. So he cheats a country simpleton out of his money then goes and loses it in the casino resulting in the country man feeling sorry for him. The two become friends and as they are both expert fighters start working as instructors for a local big boss but this causes real trouble.
Hot shot cop Gold Eagle drops out after the evil Mr Chau disrupts his wedding by killing a number of the guests. Eagle hides in an isolated village disguised as a drunkard garbage collector. But neither old flame Senny nor Chau have given up finding him.
A feudal lord from China sends his son off to kill a criminal who has murdered thirteen of his men and has stolen a large sum of gold. The son, played by David Chiang, abandons his duty (without the will to live an assassin's life anymore) and leaves the Criminal with his life in exchange for his daughter to wed. David Chiang runs off with the criminal's daughter, and is then faced with rising conflict and more destruction to his family after he had abandoned his post. David Chiang must pull himself together and fight for his life.
Those rascally Shaolin monks are at it again, and this time they're tracking down some vitriolic villains who have heisted a sacred book. Throw in an evil prince, a flying guillotine, and manic martial hijinks, and you've got a potent mix for action.
