This film is about the war. Where evil begets evil. Where there is no politics, questions and answers. This is a metaphysical, documentary parable about the endless war, as such. When it doesn't matter where this war is going or if there is an enemy at all. And the war has been going on since the creation of the world. And it multiplies. And her name is "Bitch".
On April 15, 1912, Jack L., radio operator on a military vessel, reported an SOS signal from the Titanic. He was ordered by command control not to reveal this information. Later in classified military archives Jack L. found information that radio messages from the Titanic appeared on the airwaves every 6 years in 1918, 1924, 1930, 1942... 1996, and 2002. Ever since Jack L. went on air for radio contact with the Titanic every 6 years. Saving the Titanic became the purpose and the goal of his life.
Medical examiner and pathologist Lisa examines a fresh corpse and discovers that the deceased is her accidental lover, and on her body there is an imprint of an ominous picture.
The movie is based on the events in South Ossetia in August 2008, and portraying a brutal Georgian army engaging in ethnic cleansing at the behest of its omnipresent American masters.
Young Alisa is fed up with her life in Moscow, and moves to St. Petersburg. Her roommates in the collective flat are two junkies, Vel and her boyfriend Valera the Dead Man. First they fight, but soon the two women form a friendship. Together they even go after the Petersburg underworld when Dead Man is abducted because he can't pay his debts.
Rita's daughter is sick with leukemia. In order to obtain the money for a bone marrow transplant, she travels from Ukraine to Russia to become a surrogate mother. The homosexual couple who are the biological parents of the child die in an automobile accident. Rita is left six month pregnant, without any money, and with a dying daughter to care for. In order to save her daughter, Rita is prepared to do anything. She's drawn into the criminal world, from which she escapes with her daughter to Jordan in the Near East, where Bedouins treat cancer by means of nontraditional medicines.
The film tells the story of a young Russian in the early 90s, trying to escape the army in a psychiatric clinic. He's released years later, after intensive compulsory treatment. Has a documentary film maker he gets involved in the Chechen conflict, where he meets his own apparent death. He recalls his life and realizes it mirrors that of his whole generation.
