The parents of 11-year-old Fedya decided to keep away from him the news that his grandpa had died. That is why the boy isn’t surprised when Grandpa climbs through the window and invites him to travel down the river looking for treasure. The journey becomes a serious challenge for the boy. The child’s imagination that once turned his grandfather into an imaginary companion transforms river water into a furious magical stream. Rescuing their son brings Fedya’s parents back together.
