The Silent Gun
A sheriff with a reputation as a fast gun almost kills an innocent child. He makes up his mind that he is not going to carry around loaded weapons anymore, but, since he's the sheriff of a lawless town, he compromises by carrying an unloaded pistol and relying on his reputation to keep order.

A gunfighter who survives his own hanging helps a young widow who is trying to keep a ruthless land baron from taking her ranch.
A plane carrying seven blind people to a convention for the blind in Seattle crashes in the mountains due to severe weather. Only the blind survive the crash and they must make their way back through the wilderness to civilization.
A frontier huckster, Colonel Ryder, and a young orphan, Davey, operate a travelling tent show. They are loaned an elephant by an old friend, Molly, who is also a rival circus owner. Davey trains the elephant and the two soon become inseparable. When the Colonel loses the elephant in gambling, Davey steals the elephant and begins a 20-mile search for Molly, the rightful owner.

The show ran on CBS from January 28, 1973 to April 3, 1980, beginning as a midseason replacement. William Conrad guest starred as Frank Cannon of Cannon on the first episode of Barnaby Jones, "Requiem for a Son" and the two series had a two-part crossover episode in 1975, "The Deadly Conspiracy".
