The guests of the Station Hotel have assembled to play a game of cards. The loser will sleep in room 207, a room rumored to be haunted. It hasn't been slept in for 20 years. As their lives tangle in a paranoid deadlock, the only escape becomes murder.
Frank (Larry Lamb) and his brother Len (John Benfield) meet on the day of their father's funeral. Together, with the help of Len's son Sean (John Simm) and Jean (Shirley Stelfox), a mysterious woman connected to the deceased, they will set off on a rather peculiar journey.
Frank and Roni are heading over to dinner at Roni's friend's Letty and her partner Dieter. Frank is driving so staying sober and is made all the more sober by the warning that Letty is a bit wild and the couple are into swinging. Frank is awkward through the evening although Letty, Roni and Dieter seem a lot more relaxed and having fun.
