This is about the New York City Nightclub, The Roxy, from it's beginning in 1979 as a star-studded roller disco to its final night in 2007. All of the key players in the history of the club are interviewed: from promoters, to owners, to long-time fans, capturing the spirit and the excitement of what became the center of culture, fashion, music and gay life over 25 years in New York City. The story of The Roxy encapsulates the rise and fall of disco, the devastation of AIDS, and the emergence of the "Chelsea Boys" within the gay community.
