Virgina
"Virgina" tells a tale from the end of the 19th century. It took place in a isolated village near the Adriatic Sea. Because of the extreme patriarchal culture there is a superstition that families without male heirs are cursed. When the wife of a farmer gives birth to their fourth daughter, father decides that the child will become a so-called "Virgina" and that she will live as a man, so that she can work and be the family heir. This heartbreaking story of Virgina's life is told with strong words, augmented with harsh environment.

A well known theater and movie actor, dissatisfied with condition at home and at the theater, suddenly stops the dress rehearsal of a play in which he has one of the main roles, and goes to Danube to visit his friend, a boatman transporting bricks on his small barge from a brick plant in a settlement of poor people to Belgrade. This unexpected action confuses the actor’s environment. Everybody sets out to the Danube in order to find out the real reasons for the actor’s odd behavior and to hear when he will return to normal life. The actor refuses to talk, stating that only known what he does not want! The young director, who earlier started work on filming a portrait of the actor, doesn’t know what to do. The opening night is postponed.

Grlom u jagode is a 1975 Yugoslavian TV series directed by Srđan Karanović and co-written by Karanović and Rajko Grlić. Depicting the life and times of a young man nicknamed Bane Bumbar, the series achieved huge popularity throughout SFR Yugoslavia. Revolving around Bane, his family, and his circle of friends, the series also portrays 1960s Belgrade, Serbia and Yugoslavia.
At the beginning of the World War I, Filip, a Serbian school director in the Serbian province, has been asked to immediately go to Belgrade to get war schedule. His wife Lea, Slovene, with no one to leave because the two of them recently arrived in the small town and no one really knows them. Azem, an Albanian, school attendance, gives Filip a promise (Besa) to watch the Lea and that nothing will happen. Lea and Azem, are forced to live together in an abandoned school. Their relationship changes during the time.
Director of this movie gave an advertisement in many Yugoslav papers calling everybody who wants to act in movie regardless of age, look or profession to reply. From 7000 arrived letters, about 30 heroes were picked up for the movie and its story was made based on what they wished to play.

He is captured and castrated, and the private lives of Milobjub and Nadira become part of the director's story in his film. He must answer to the financiers and producers who believe his film was to be a comedy. The events foreshadow a long and bloody conflict between two factions, a battle that has not abated in the ten years since this film's initial release.
