Vismayathumbathu

A killer accepts a contract to kill a women and her niece who is inherit a huge property. The rest of the plot is how he release his mistake and saves the two.

Balachandran (Mammootty) had resorted to his work after he is unable to cope up with the death of his wife, Bhama (Shobhana). During the process, he neglects his only son, Appu (Badusha). When Appu returns home for his school vacation, Balachandran promises to take him on a lot of trips, but is unable to do any as he is caught up with work. Pappayude Swantham Appoos movie is all about the bonds between the father and his son.

Maya is the spoiled child of a rich man. Along with her friends she decides to make fun of Dr. Srinivas. The doctor in turn insults her by saying that she is a fatherless child. Maya discovers that her father has adopted her when she was a baby and that her biological mother is the famous singer K. S Vasundhara Devi. She tries everything to make her mother accept her.

Mini is hesitant to reciprocate her love for Jeeva who steadily makes an inroad into her heart, the love affair incensing her family members who give him a thrashing each time he meets her. Jeeva's parents are under the impression that their son is pursuing his MBA studies until his father receives an SOS from Jeeva, injured in one such beatings. His father Chandrasekhar (Sivakumar) is stunned by the developments and Jeeva's mother (Srividya) is also shocked. Jeeva refuses to part company with Mini when his father arrives with his henchmen to take him back.

A young couple, Ganga and Nakulan, arrives at the ancestral home called Madampalli of the latter. Hailing from a family that follows tradition and superstitions, Nakulan's uncle Thampi objects to the couple's idea of moving into the allegedly haunted mansion, which Nakulan ignores. The couple moves in anyway following which seemingly supernatural events begin to happen.
