'From One Day To The Next' follows four elderly people through their everyday lives, observing how they cope with a gradual loss of autonomy.
Born June 8, 1964, Frank Matter films four "twins", born the same day as him, but in other latitudes. Interweaving their life stories with rich archival material, the filmmaker links these Parallel Lives with elements from his own biography, to compose a fascinating fresco where intimate trajectories are part of the advent of the global village.
Martin Haberstich thinks he witnessed a murder. When he finds out, what really happened it’s too late... A slightly surrealistic film murder mystery about perception and reality.
Robert is an actor who may or may not be himself in this film about acting, aging and the dark side of ambition. Filmed over the course of 18 months, as a documentary crew follows Robert from one failed audition to another, recording in raw detail his every humiliation and small triumph as he searches for that elusive perfect role that will catapult his career into the next level.
