Off the Air is an American anthology television series on Adult Swim. Its a collection of psychedelic and visually complex animation, art, and culture. The show is created by editor Dave Hughes, and produced by Hughes' company, Million Monkeys Inc.
Composer/Musician Dan Deacon (Bromst, America) teams up with Director/Editor Dave Hughes (Off The Air/Adult Swim) to create a 22 minute music video odyssey that takes viewers on a skewed trip through the American landscape and beyond. The music is the four part USA suite, off Deacon's latest album America, and the visuals were culled from artists all over the world.

In an infinite expanse of black, a white nuclear entity emerges and is invoked by a woman. She triggers a big bang and a shamanic dance ritual set to Intelligent House beats. Bubbling energy is bundled into a ball of pulsating lightning by women with antlers. Their movements seem to direct the course of the universe.
