What happens in life after death

An old man who is a simple worker decides that he wants to buy a cell phone. He goes to buy some second hand ones but by accident the president's used cell phone is the one which he buys.

Khalil known as Khalil Katyusha who is a religious guy and member of Basidj is forced to spend couple of days with Arshia the lousy rich boy. The different backgrounds and ideals make these two to make troubles for each other.

Two young theologues are going to participate in an academic seminar about religions in Germany. Haj Agha Ferasati, the head of the seminary, prevents them from travelling. The young theologues convince Haj Agha and get him a visa.

A tension building thriller at every turn, Dar Emtedad Shahr opens with the begins of a jewellery store robbery, and then goes back in time to explore the events leading up to it. In doing so, the major players are introduced: the pair of robbers themselves, the jewellery store owner, his ill wife and doctor mistress and a disenfranchised celebrity. When the robbery goes wrong and the jewellery store owner is shot, all stories begin to collide as a hostage situation escalates. Who exactly will survive? And what will be left of those who do?
