Five children enter a forest full of giant trees, strange animals, and magical characters.

Reflecting the closeness of Puerto Ricans in New York with those on the island, three stories among couples are combined to cast emotions of passion, jealousy, doubt and infidelity. The couples are burned by sudden and unexpected feelings and are pushed to make the decision that will change their lives forever influenced by the events of September 11th.

Doris is a hardworking and honest woman, divorced and mother of two teenagers whom she adores but doesn’t understand. After a bad relationship with her husband, she no longer trusts men. She lives only for her children, but they’re living their own lives. One day, Doris learns that things can get better.

A young boy has a vision on Christmas Eve that changes him and his entire village.
