The story begins when Abah has lost his home and property. That is a consequence of paying too much brother-in-law's debt. Then Abah and his family moved to a house in a remote village in West Java. The house is his childhood home, a legacy from his father. Initially, they planned to stay temporarily during the trial of his brother's debt case. Unfortunately, they lost in court. The court's decision left Abah's family threatened to live forever in the small house in a state of poverty. Not only Abah, Euis, Abah's first child also helped raise money for the family. While Cemara or Ara, who is still small, seems to remain eager to live life. They work hand in hand to rise from the deterioration of economic conditions. The Cemara family is an adaptation of a television series with the same title by Arswendo Atmowiloto.

Deddy (Deddy Corbuzier), the assassin who is member of a secret organization, deeply traumatized when his beloved wife was killed. He decides to quit. However, there is still a final contract that he must do before he can get out of the underworld. The target is Volland (Volland Humonggio), ruthless thug who has a sister, Chika (Chika Jessica). In his guise Deddy is close and fall in love with Chika. With a dark past, a desire to quit and ending the task, he faces a difficult choice: kill the target and lose his new love or quit the party risking himself and his girlfriend to be killed by his organization.

She devise a plan to hire an actor, Satrio, to pretend to become her boyfriend for a week. She brings along Satrio to Jogjakarta for her parents' wedding anniversary party. But what it seems as a harmless plan turns into chaos. All Dinda's plan didn't work out as she hope to be. Satrio turns out to be an idealistic and eccentric actor who never follow Dinda's scenario and always has his own act to charm Dinda's parents. Dinda is trying juggling everything in order,but little does she knows that her parents also has their own scenario for Dinda. Hilarity ensues.

This orphanage belongs to Hajj Rachman (Jamal Mirdad) and his wife, Hajjah Rosna (Henidar Amroe), who have no children of their own. They’ve become the parents for the orphans. One day an orphan called Lili (Widy Vierra), 17 year old, is raped by Jerink (Edo Borne), a local thug. Among the thugs, the boss is Rambo (Tio Pakusadewo), Jerink’s brother. Rangga, always hates thugs’ ways, asks Jerink to hold responsibility. Both get into a duel and Jerink dies by his own knife. Rangga is sentenced to jail for three years. Rambo then sends people to murder him in jail but these guys fail to avenge Rambo’s brother’s death.

They discuss religion, marriage, and sex while traversing the multi-cultures of Indonesia.

The movie takes place in a village near the Borobudur Temple in the Central Java. The village people make their living by digging up stones and carving them. Amat (Adadiri Tanpalang), a ten-year-old boy is an intelligent and mature boy who helps his mute father with stone carving. One day, his teacher requests him to participate in a stone carving competition. He never finishes it; instead his father does it for him. He wins but he returns the prize to the school because he felt that he doesn’t deserve it. He claims that his father is the one who finished the statue for competition for him. While his friend, Siti (Acintyaswati Widianing) is the one who sent the stone carving to the competition.

The story of Tantini from the Sanca Bachtiar family who is kidnapped and later adopted by the Arnold van Dyk family. They change her name into Tinneke. Sanca finds out about her daughter’s whereabout several years after the child is declared dead. He tries hard and eventually succeeds on getting Tinneke back.

Agnes appears to be out of control. Her father is seldom at home while her stepmother is afraid of her. At school, she dares to confront teachers whom she considers as no good. A young teacher, Wing Ganda, tries to understand her and shows her how to use her talent. His effort is fruitful but Agnes falls in love with him. Wing tries to avoid her. When another young man attempts to approach Agnes, she makes a fool out of him. Agnes has to deal with the fact that she cannot conquer everything. Wing is unconquerable and her stepmother secretly cares about her very much. This was one of the more insightful teenage films that understood teenage psychology and was also optmistic in a realistic way.
