Condoms aren’t just for protection. They can also be used to save a failing marriage, seduce a plumber, or to punish a selfish playboy. And so it is for this quirky romance comedy in which nothing seems to make sense, and yet everything fits together nicely. Adam is a playboy who dislikes wearing condoms. One day, he wakes up with a condom that he can’t remove. Meanwhile, Ah Hua is contemplating divorcing her husband of 30 years. Ah Niu, who has been visiting prostitutes suddenly recalls how he tricked Ah Hua into thinking that condoms were balloons when he first pursued her so many years ago. On Valentine’s Day, Baoling does not have a date. When she comes home, she is shocked to find Durian, a talking condom who offers to teach her how to get a man.
1964-65. Singapore is a city at a crossroads. Political and racial tensions are at fever pitch as the British pull out, and a new nation is about to be born. This is the city of Sam Callaghan, Patricia Cheng, the CIA’s Conrad Harrison and the clients of the Cheng Detective Agency. The agency’s cases range from the usual (straying spouses and petty fraudsters) to events with international implications and complications. Sam’s contacts from his military days are useful - but they start to drag him back into a dark world that he would prefer to leave behind.

Teochew sees one of the posters, and his curiosity is piqued. Bumping into Hainan one day, he asks about the brassiere, although he has no intention of returning it. Unfortunately, he lets slip more than he should, and Hainan becomes suspicious...
"Old Cow Vs Tender Grass" tells the story of Moo (played by Henry Thia), a taxi-driver in his late 40s, and how his routine life changes when he gets acquainted with an attractive but eccentric lady, Moon (played by Crystal Lin). Meanwhile, Jack Lim plays a rugged taxi-driver who falls for a lady from China (played by Siau Jiahui). The movie attempts to explore the seemingly improbable romantic relationships in today's society, through a simple yet hilarious storyline.

They end up sharing the same cab but the drunken Ke Qing (Julian Hee) accidentally throws up all over Zhu-Er. This episode begins their oddly fated encounters whenever they wait for cab. After a decade of fated encounters and missed opportunities, will Ke Qing and Zhu Er finally realize that the love they have been waiting for has always been around them?

The Noose is a Singapore comedy TV series produced by MediaCorp Channel 5 which has aired in Singapore for six seasons, in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2013. Although the name of the show plays on the word The News, the literal gallows humor of the program's name is unlikely to be missed by viewers in a country which executes people by hanging. The third season began airing on June 1, 2010. The fourth season began airing on March 8, 2011. The last season, Season 5, began airing on December 27, 2011 and features topics such as the Mayan Calendar and doomsday and other relevant current issues. A sixth season is slated to air starting April 2, 2013. Michelle Chong will not return for the new season. The Noose is a parody of local news programmes such as News 5 Tonight, with fictional news reports and a presentation mimicking that of the real news. For example, every episode of News 5 Tonight begins with a CGI clock indicating the time, while every episode of the first two seasons of The Noose would spoof it by displaying the time using something more mundane, such as a plastic clock hanging on a wall. At the beginning of every episode, there is a candid disclaimer telling the viewer that the stories are not true. Each episode stars Michelle Chong, Chua En Lai, Alaric Tay and Suhaimi Yusof, with various actors and actresses as newscasters and interviewees, often with parodic mannerisms and names.
