Asia is the single mother of 17-year-old Vika. Vika's deteriorating health urges Asia to finally find her voice as a mother and to embrace and cherish their time together.

The year is 1994. A caravan site, built by the Israeli Government for immigrants from the Soviet Union, is about to be dismantled. Ilya (9) remains to defend the caravan of his grandfather, Jenia, who refuses to be evacuated.

Maya, a beautiful, 13, arrives to an orphanage towards the end of World War II. She discovers who her true father is and has a forbidden relationships with an orphanage worker.

Catherine, a young woman from Moldova, answers an appealing Want ad that calls for work overseas. She receives a plane ticket and arrives in Israel, landing in Tel Aviv without the slightest notion about the cruelty that awaits her.
