In the beautiful hills of the Copper Canyon in Chihuahua, Mexico, a young boy (Emilio) is adopted by the mailman (Teo). As part of their daily tasks, they not only deliver the mail but read letters to the villagers, as well as take dictation, since most are illiterate. Young Emilio quickly learns to read and write but feels saddened by the mostly difficult stories sent by relatives, that moved north to Denver, Colorado in pursuit of a better future. One day Teo becomes disabled and Emilio takes over the mail route and with great imagination, he changes the letters to happy and optimistic stories. Within days, the village is transformed. The elders, once hopeless, lonely and sad, are now happy and enthusiastic, enjoying the "supposed" success their loved ones write from the United States. But the enjoyment is short lived, as they realize that all the wonderful stories are the same...

Lost in Time is a touching film because of those surprises the director finds each time she comes across with that invaluable family footage, which was more forgotten than lost; or when her relatives tell stories she thought to be hilarious and made up, and which she later finds out to be true (like a shattered romance between her grandmother and Ricardo Montalbán, for instance). García Besné makes the most out of the contrasts that surface between the different visual formats she uses and all that found footage she finds. Lost in Time is a master class of cinema, any way you look at it.

Carita de Angel is a child telenovela produced in Mexico by Televisa in 2000 produced by Nicandro Díaz. It is a remake of the telenovela Papa Corazon, which also was adapted for Mundo de juguete. It starred Lisette Morelos, Miguel de León and Daniela Aedo as Dulce Maria. In 2001 it was broadcast in the United States by the Spanish-language broadcaster Univision. Among the great figures of his cast were Mexicans Joaquín Cordero and Ana Luisa Peluffo and Argentine Libertad Lamarque, who died during the filming of this soap opera and was replaced by actress Silvia Pinal. From December 11 of 2000 until January 5 of 2001 the soap opera interrupted its broadcast in order to go to Christmas minitelenovela Rayito de Luz. In Indonesia, this telenovela broadcast on RCTI in early 2003, and a years later, in 2004, it broadcast on SCTV. In the United States, it re-aired on the Spanish channel UniMás from June 14, 2012 to February 28, 2013.
