When the inexperienced football coach Selma Nord takes over Vinninge BK, the team is in last place in division 7 Södra Skåne (South Skåne). Selma immediately finds herself at odds with the star player of the team Roy "Kroyf" Andersson, who is skeptical of the new coach's abilities. The team spirit is in jeopardy, and the situation gets worse when the owners of the team's home field threatens to turn it into a sugar beet plantation once the season is over. Now Selma has to win Kroyf over to her side.
The young and idealistic priest Albin returns to Sweden from Kenya to work in a church in the small village Östra Nöbberup. Albin want to renew the work of the parish and tries to attract visitors to church with controversial methods. Starke man is a 2010 Swedish comedy series broadcast on SVT. The series focuses on local politics in Svinarp, a fictitious small municipality in the south of Sweden, which the press has branded the second-most boring municipality of Scania in the pilot episode. Much of the series revolves around Lars-Göran Bengtsson, the less-than competent social democrat mayor of Svinarp, who is usually saved from disaster by his disillusioned staff. Starke man was written by Wiktor Ericsson and Anders Jansson with Anders Jansson, Magnus Mark and Anna Blomberg in the main roles. The first episode was broadcast on 26 September 2010. The second season was broadcast in 2011. The series was filmed in Kävlinge, Sweden.
