Johann Stanzerl sieht sich umzingelt. Alle anderen Geschäftslokale seines Wiener Viertels sind bereits in türkischer Hand. Nur sein geliebtes Café "Prinz Eugen", benannt nach dem berühmten österreichischen Feldherrn, der die Türken an der Einnahme Wiens hinderte, leistet mit seiner österreichischen Stammkundschaft noch Widerstand. Johann und seine Frau Sofie sind im Begriff, ihr Kaffeehaus zu erweitern. Der Pachtvertrag mit dem Grafen Wildmannsdorf ist unterzeichnet, die illegale Ablöse bezahlt. Der Tag des feierlichen Mauereinrisses, der dem Durchbruch in den zukünftigen Raucherraum dienen soll, läuft jedoch anders als geplant: Statt der polnischen Arbeiter taucht der türkische Geschäftsmann Mustafa mit seiner Familie auf und ist dabei, die Mauer von der gegenüberliegenden Seite niederzureißen.
The comedy “Ein fast perfekter Seitensprung” was not only successful, it was really well-done. The first sequel is, as most sequels, less attractive. As the charming mix of Germans and Austrians itself wasn't new and interesting any more, Schwabenitzky had to concentrate more on the less terrific elements. He emphasised the character-clichés and made up a more complex story, in order to bring down as many of the characters from the first film as possible. This sequel is only worth watching if you're a great fan of the first part. Actually, not even then.
A brainy kid clones a "suaver, hipper" version of himself to romance the rock singer girlfriend of his school's meanest bully.
A TV commercial is being prepared and shot. The product to be advertised is a laxative - a synonym for the majority of the acting persons. The director Gecko Bauch is surrounded by a number of friends and co-workers, who care much more about their own interests than their common work. Into this group, and very close to Gecko, comes Sophie, who actually has nothing to do with these people.
