Arko returns to his 'mamarbari' (maternal uncles' house) to meet his extended family. Over there, he meets his second uncle Sujan (Parambrata Chatterjee) who is always locked in a room because of his presumed mental retardation. As Arko sees his uncle more closely, he realizes that something very wrong has happened to him and the family is hiding a secret.

Selfie is a film that portrays the multi-dimensional relation between a hero and a commoner. Soumitra Chatterjee, the iconic personality of Indian cinema comes across a guy who is his namesake. The second Soumitra Chatterjee is jeered at by people at different stages of his life. Worse, his fiancee seeks in his presence traces of the iconic Soumitra Chatterjee. His only solace remains in his own ventriloquist persona. Simultaneously, the legendary Soumitra Chatterjee meets the attractive woman who happens to be young Soumitra's love interest, but secretly pines for the old and famous Soumitra. The famous Soumitra has a bizarre dream in which this girl appears in a reality show called The BIG BOSS. He talks about this show in a television interview. The finale is a complex web of fantasy and reality involving these three protagonists.

Amal works as a security guard in a mall and is tempted by the world of wealth surrounding him. When a close friend introduces him to the underworld element, he becomes trapped in a web of greed, lust and crime.

In this Notting Hill remake, Madhuja Sen, an Indian Bengali actress, comes to shoot her film in Shillong and falls in love with a local bookshop owner, Arpan. However, things take a turn when there is a terrorist attack in the city and Arpan sells his bookshop in order to pay for her INR 2 million ransom.

After being rescued by a gangster, Sreelekha gets married to him hoping for a happily married life. However, things take a turn for the worse.
