Disappearing In America is a 2009 character drama written by David Polcyn and Erik Rodgers and produced by String And A Can Productions in association with Damian Collier (as Damian Collier Entertainment). It debuted at the 2008 Newport Beach Film Festival and was released in July 2009 on DVD by Anthem Pictures
Described as "Angela Carter rewriting La Belle et la Bête as an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer", the story follows, through a tapestry of dreamlike images, a girl (Sarah Livingston Evans) and her three friends—the characters' names are never revealed—as they find themselves stranded in a dark and surreal forest by someone—or something (Edward Gusts)—who has obsessively loved, watched, and waited for the girl ever since childhood.

This version filmed at Wembley Arena (UK) on 25th April 2006.
It's the 1980's and a group of typical horror movie high school kids are getting together to hold a séance in a haunted house. When John Spears (Paul Conway) is arrested on suspicion of murdering his neighbour, detectives Kenosha (Jenny Agutter) and Frett (Jeremy Bulloch) are brought in to investigate the crime. As she spends time with the uncommunicative Spears, Kenosha becomes darkly fascinated by the suspect and soon realises there is much more to the case than meets the eye. Delving into his past, she discovers a man traumatised by a lost love and events so shocking that he can barely speak of them. When she is warned off by an American security firm, Spears retreats into his own world once more and appears to be a man on the edge of insanity.
