Apoorva
As a gift from Rama to Hanuman, two blessed children are born to save humanity. An evil sadhu wants to sacrifice them to gain power, and sends out his minion to look for their special birthmarks. At the same time, two corrupted relatives moves into their household. At this dangerous time, Hanuman appears in the guise of a child to protect them.
A brave man decides to kidnap his friend's beloved from a forced marriage, but ends up abducting the wrong bride. Ironically, the bride he kidnapped is ecstatic because she was already planning an escape. On the run, they fall in love, but in order to get married, they must convince their families.
After Coimbatore-based Ravichandra Verma passes away, his young son, Raja, assumes the responsibility of running the family business as well as ensuring that his brother, Ajay, gets a good education - much to the chagrin of three of his uncles. Years later, while on a trip to Uttaranchal, despite of warnings from a Pandit, he gets killed by a female assassin, but his family is informed that he is missing. Shortly thereafter, Gyaneshwar Kale and his sister, Sravani/Shivani, will inform the family that Raja is still alive but is handicapped and suffers from memory loss. The family is overjoyed but are not aware that Raja is actually a hoodlum/extortionist known as Bottu Seenu/Raghu Rokda.
Sivanna (Arjun) and Lakshmi (Swati) are siblings. Their parents die when they were kids. Sivanna took the entire responsibility of raising his sister. Lakshmi falls in love with Ajay (Srinath). Sivanna marry off his sister to Ajay. But Ajay's family member is against to this marriage. When Ajay leaves abroad for an assignment, family of Ajay plots a conspiracy on Lakshmi and accuses her of having an extramarital affair with the car driver.Ajay believes in his mother and starts abusing Lakshmi. When Sivanna comes to know about it, he offers to take her back to his home. But she refuses. The rest of the film is all about how Sivanna finds out evidence to prove the innocence of his sister.
Rettai Jadai Vayasu (Tamil: ரெட்டை ஜடை வயசு) is a 1997 Tamilcomedy film directed by C. Sivakumar featuring Ajith Kumar and Manthra in the leading roles. Goundamani, Senthil and Ponvannan among others play other pivotal roles in the film, which has music composed by Deva.
