As the name suggests, the film tells the story of the monkey-god Hanuman, who is worshipped by Hindus throughout the world, and has an important place of his own as a devotee of Lord Rama.
Lord Krishna warns Lord Hanuman to release Nagakanya but Hanuman refuses, which leads to a war between the two. Hanuman has no intentions of giving up even when Sathyabhama disguises herself as Sita.
