An anthology movie of short dramas starring and written by various YOSHIMOTO KOGYO talents.

The third season of "sumu sumu" tells a story among Bakarhythm, Nikaido Fumi, Wakabayashi Masayasu, Mizukawa Asami, and Himura Yuki. The drama will be distributed on Hulu from april 25th (every Sunday) with total 10 episodes. It starts in a typical apartment room in metro Tokyo. The room was rent by Bakarhythm for writing work, and it is commonly known as "workplace". One day, Nikaido Fumi, who lived here before, showed up. The party starts. Such gathering, and such friendship among entertainers, are not something that you can always find elsewhere.

Career woman Shimura Eriko (Mizukawa Asami) works for a large general trading company on equal footing with the men. She is beautiful and highly educated. Her parents have a house in Tokyo’s Setagaya ward. Life seems to be going well for Eriko whose single greatest hang up is the fact that she does not have any female friends. Her secret pleasure is to read a popular journal written by a housewife influencer of the same age on social media. At one point, she happens to meet Maruo Shoko (Yamada Maho), the writer of the diary, who lives nearby. Shoko also has no female friends. The two of them who have this point in common, quickly become close. However, some incident causes their relationship to develop in an unexpected direction.

It is early summer in 2020 at a time when social interaction is restricted and many people are spending time at home. Six people living in an apartment building meet and find themselves relating to each other. Two of them are a couple who have been married for three years – Takiguchi Miwa, a magazine editor who works from home, and her husband Akira, a video producer. They look forward to each day despite the changes in their lives. Akira’s daily routine is to watch the videos of a popular trio on NewTube. The three members actually live on the same floor of the apartment building. Asano Chiaki, a young photographer who lives next door, lost his job due to the coronavirus. He has been spending his days taking photos from the rooftop or verandah, capturing beauty amid the mundane daily life. One day, when he steps out onto the verandah, he sees Miwa watering her flowers on the verandah next door and is attracted to her.

Nagisa is transgender. She grew up in Hiroshima as a man, but now lives in Shinjuku, Tokyo as a woman. Due to an incident, she begins to live with middle school student Ichika, who is a distant relative. Ichika has been neglected by her mother Saori. From living in solitude by herself, to now living with Ichika, Nagisa develops maternal instincts for the first time.

Three underdogs with very different back stories put their pride on the line as they exchange blows.

Ko Himi (Yuko Takeuchi) works as a lawyer and she is also an expert in crisis management. Her clients are women who are trapped in scandals. Ko Himi never gives up on her clients and does whatever is necessary for justice to take place.

Struggling scriptwriter Gota Yanagida and his wife Chika have been married for ten years and live with their daughter Aki. Gota suffers in his sexless marriage and tries to make his wife happy every day, but Chika is cold to him because he earns no money. One day, Gota is approached by a film producer about his story of “a high school girl who makes udon noodles at a tremendous speed.” He needs to go to Kagawa to write the screenplay and proposes a family trip there, and Chika reluctantly joins. However, a different film project has already been decided.

Fumika, Aoi's mother, is worried about her clumsy nature and poor communication skills, but Aoi's unique compassion and kindness draws patients' hearts. "I wonder what's life..." Aoi matures while looking at the newborn babies' overwhelming life and asking herself that question.

Jun Jonochi works at a paper manufacturing company. She is earnest, but clueless about her own appearance. She doesn't have any interest in making herself look good. One day, she realizes that people don't view her as other women. She begins to read up on things like make-up and fashion trends with her two female colleagues.

Tobio Masubuchi and his friends are ordinary high school students. Due to an incident, their peaceful days are about to change. Tobio’s friends are beaten by students from another high school in their neighborhood. Tobio and his friends scheme to get back the students from the other school. The day they are to carry out their plan, they see the other high school engulfed in flames. Tobio and his friends become suspects.

On that day, Sota gives Saeko chocolate that he made, but she doesn't accept his gift. Saeko tells him that she didn't think they were dating. Sota is heartbroken, but he doesn't give up hope. To make Saeko love him, he travels to France with little money and studies chocolate there. This is because Saeko loves chocolate. 5 years later, Sota becomes a first-class Chocolatier. Now back in Japan, Sota opens his very own store.

Ueno Juri has been announced as the lead actress of the series. The roles of Yodo and Hatsu will be played by Miyazawa Rie and Mizukawa Asami respectively.

Lovely NHK TV show featuring friends Masami Nagasawa and Asami Mizukawa travelling by bicycle through Hawaii. Beautiful nature views of the island on this cute program aired back in 2009. Masami does not look nature friendly at all, cleaning and carefully examining vegetables and fruit before having a bite. But she looks very cute with long hair. Asami looks like someone I would like to be friends with, she is fun and loud and not as afraid of trying new things as Masami. Hawaii seen like this looks like paradise, especially the sunshine from the top of the mountain.

Higanjima is an eerie island occupied by vampires, from where none has ever come back alive. When teenager Akira hears that his missing brother has been seen in the island, he decides to investigate with several friends.

The title is a reference to the war banner used by Takeda Shingen, which in turn was taken from Sun Tzu's The Art of War. It means "Swift as the Wind, Silent as a Forest, Fierce as Fire and Immovable as a Mountain."

Our story begins with two losers, Mitsuru and Maki, driving down the road with a drugged and kidnapped little girl in the back of their car. They owe lots of yen for drugs and a kidnapping scheme seemed to only possible way to get the money. The problem is, that when they call to make ransom demands, the people state that their daughter died a year ago, so who the hell do they have in their custody? The kidnappers are holed up in an old school, turns out it was the school that Mitsuru used to go to and it's now abandoned. Or, SEEMINGLY abandoned.

Then, a young woman falls in love with him. She finds it very admirable that he takes such good care of his mother, but is also a bit confused by this fellow who seems to care more for his mother than for his girlfriend.

Stand Up!! is a Japanese television drama which ran weekly for three months in 2003. The drama, which stars Kazunari Ninomiya of Arashi and Tomohisa Yamashita of NEWS, centers around the lives of the last four virgins left in their highschool as they struggle to lose their virginity over their final high school summer vacation. Isao Yukisada spins this gritty coming-of-age tale about Sugihara, a Japanese-born, third-generation Korean who struggles to find a place in a society that will not accept him. The film begins with Sugihara studying at a Korean junior high school that is dedicated to memory of North Korean leader Kim Jong Il. His father is a grizzled ex-boxer who recently changed his citizenship from North to South Korea so he and his wife – Sugihara's mom – could visit Hawaii. Though his father regularly gets drunk and thrashes him, he also taught Sugihara the finer point of the sweet science. At one point in the film, Sugihara takes out an entire basketball team that was bent on taking him out. Upon graduation, Sugihara enters a normal Japanese high school where he meets and soon falls for Sakurai – a loose-sock copper-haired damsel who is attracted to Sugihara's restless spirit. As the film progresses, Sugihara struggles to throw off the stigma of his ethnicity and live a quiet, successful life.

Big corporate law firm seeking to increase their profit margin notices that a lot of the partners spend a lot of their time on cases which don't bring in a lot of revenue. They decide they need to hire an average lawyer, at a minimal salary, that will take care of these small cases and not complain. That's why the law firm hires Hanamura Daisuke (Yusuke Santamaria)...to handle these minor cases. Daisuke's approach to the law is very unique and the way he handles each case is very entertaining

Looking for something to do during the summer, Akihiko Suzuki teams up with four girls (Namie, Natsumi, Mishiyo, and Komugi) and a guy (Kosuke) to start a little cafe down by the beach. Actually, he is more interested in the girls than the job. They used to ignore him, but by working at the cafe, he hopes to start a friendship with them.
