A saga of love and sacrifice, it tells of an orphan youth who, on realizing that his benefactor's daughter, whom he loved, had been forcibly raped by the rich village landlord, marries her to save her family's honor.

Amrish Puri (Daku Panna) murders Bindu's (Champa) family and kidnaps her. He puts her into a brothel. Kabir Bedi (Daku Raju)'s father is killed by Daku Panna and Daku Raja vows to take his revenge. One day Daku Raja goes to the same brothel where Champa had been dumped. There the two of them recognize each other as they had been childhood friends. Mangala and Daku Govind help them in getting married and Champa becomes Ratna. She soon gives birth to baby girl named Bela. But Daku Panna soon attacks Raju with his gang. Bela is sent to Dulari in the village because her parents fear her safety. After many years Daaku Raju and Ratna have grown old. They think of their daughter and come to the village. Sunil (Vijay Arora) a good Samaritan always thinks of Bela and doesn't want her to get marry to the wrong person. When Bela meets her parents, she is elated. Her father soon kills Daku Panna and settles Bela's wedding with the able groom.

This is a coming of age movie based on the life of a young man named Kalloo, who lives with his wealthy family in a small village in India. Kalloo is attracted to a pretty young woman named Laxmi, but is unable to express his love for her. On her part, Laxmi too is attracted to Kalloo, and would like him to take the lead in this romance. Kalloo wants to write a love-letter to Laxmi, and is unable to do so, as he cannot read nor write. When he discusses this matter with his grandma, he is told that it is not necessary for him to learn to read and write, as the family is wealthy, and this matter can be taken care of by hiring someone who can read and write. But will Kalloo be satisfied with this, especially when Laxmi herself can read and write?

This is a story about having an extra marital affair within the family itself. Vikram (Suresh Oberoi) and his younger brother Yatin (Akbar Khan) lead their import - export business. Eventually Vikram meets Sadhavi (Deepti Naval) who is a painter with the family in Nepal. They become great friends and one day Vikram decides that Sadhavi should marry his younger brother Yatin. They get married and were having happy married life till Sadhavi discovers that Yatin only wants sexual pleasure but does not want to give her his time. One day due to a big fight between husband and wife, Sadhavi leaves the house and goes back to Nepal. Vikram goes there to bring Sadhavi back. There is a great bond between them and they both end up having an extra marital affair. Sadhavi finally wants to become a saint and leave the world of pleasure.
