A view of the end-of-the-century Mexican family. A father who comes back home after a long absence, but who would rather be somewhere else. A daughter suffering from a trapped pain. Four women get mad at a bakery while they recall their lives at their neighborhood.

A female doctor uses the body of a young playboy to insert him the brain of his teacher, an eminent physician who she loves, in order to perpetuate his life. But something goes wrong and this broken Jesus with superhuman strength escapes and hides to avoid showing his deformity. Disguised with a wrestler's mask and cape, circumstances lead him to undertake a heroic journey.

Dalia and Daniel are a couple running away from the noise, the pollution and the social prejudice, so they take shelter at an isolated farmhouse, which used to belong to Daniel's father. There they are, in full intimacy with each other, only with nature and their own memories. However, the monotony and the loneliness gradually deteriorates their relationship.
